Activation codes will be sent only when you have purchased a prepaid year of membership:
- If you purchased a 1 year activation code on the Hydrow website, it would have been be emailed to you shortly after your purchase.
- If you purchased a prepaid year through Best Buy, it will be available to retrive through your Best Buy account online.
- If you did not pre-pay membership for a year, no activation code will be included with your purchase.
(Note: A standard purchase of Hydrow with our "Starter Package", or "Pro Package" does not include any months of prepaid membership. This is a separate item that could have been added to your purchase. )
If your purchase did not include any prepaid membership you can simply use the "Sign Me up" or "Activate" button on the membership screen to set up monthly billing as normal. However, If you received an activation code with your purchase, you can use the following steps to redeem it on Hydrow.
1. Membership Screen
During the course of normal setup on Hydrow, a screen will appear asking you to sign up for a Hydrow membership. On this screen will be a smaller option which says "I have an activation code."
2. Activation Code Screen
Choosing this option will bring you to the screen pictured below where you can enter the activation code you received and then click "Submit"
3. Payment info screen
Hydrow will next ask you to enter your credit card. An attached credit card is required for all memberships as a form of fraud protection. No charges will be made to the card you enter until the end of the membership period granted by the code. When prepaid months expire, the card will begin to bill monthly at the normal rate.
Note: DO NOT REBOOT OR OTHERWISE GO BACKWARDS DURING THIS STEP. Doing so may cause your activation code to become invalid as though it has already been used.
If you are having trouble using a code successfully, please double-check that you have entered it correctly. Activation codes are case sensitive. Please also be sure that the code you are using was an official code provided by Hydrow.
If you are certain your code is both valid and correct, but it still isn't working please contact Hydrow Customer Care and include the following information in the ticket:
- The Activation code # you are trying to use with Hydrow
- A screenshot or the full text of any error message appearing when you click submit.
- What period of complimentary membership you are expecting from this code.
- What dealer or retailer you purchased Hydrow from.
