Traditional indoor rowing machines are programmed with basic settings that count down as you row for a selected amount of time or distance. Right now, Hydrow doesn't have a mode for simplified rowing based on simple time or distance intervals. This is a feature that we may or may not choose to add in the future.
For now, the best work around for this type of training on Hydrow is to use our "Journeys" rowing category. If you filter the Library Screen for "Workout Type" and select "Journeys," you will find workouts which feature no instructor and no set pace. From there, you can row to your desired time or distance interval without distraction, and then exit when done.
PLEASE NOTE: "Just Row" Mode on Hydrow is not a feature that will allow you to do free interval training as discussed above. This is simply our name for the limited-function mode Hydrow operates in when there is no active membership attached. This mode does not have any functionality that isn't available to Hydrows with an active membership.
